Kayla Hatcher grew up near St. Louis, Missouri. She received a Bachelor of Fine Arts: Photography from Milligan College. In September of 2013, she began an eleven month ministry opportunity with The World Race where she was able to encounter cultures and invest in the lives of locals in over eleven different countries. Following The World Race, she attended  G42 Leadership Academy in Mijas, Spain, and soon after moved to Tokyo, Japan. In 2016, she returned to St. Louis pursuing an interest in sustainable agriculture, and soon after joined the Urban Harvest STL FARMily.

Hate defines border lines.

Love crosses them.

The camera is my passport.

Kayla uses photography as a means to tell the stories that fill headlines and those that should, encouraging the viewer to encounter and invest in cultures outside their comfort zone; and document those daily moments where God makes himself recognizable to us.

Shooting life as we know it, and as we wish it to be.
